Hoani is one of our hard working crew at ELE in Christchurch and an integral team member of Te Kapa Haka o Ngā Manu a Tāne.
From Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th February he will be representing Canterbury at Te Matatini, which is being held at Eden Park in Auckland.
Te Matatini is a significant cultural festival and the pinnacle event for Māori performing arts. Held every two years, it is one of the most highly anticipated events for performers, their whānau and the mass of passionate Kapa Haka fans throughout the world.
The dedication that Hoani has demonstrated to achieve this level of representation is in keeping with all he does. We wish him and his Canterbury team all the best for a successful festival and look forward to the amazing celebration that is Te Matatini.
